16th Annual Trades & Technology Camp

The Trades & Technology Camp gives students in Grades 9 – 12, the chance to explore trades and technology training opportunities at GPRC. There are over 50 Apprenticeship trades currently operating within Alberta and this camp will give insight into the work trades do, and how they work together toward a common goal.

Sessions cover programs like Animal Health Technology, Automotive Service, Carpentry, Electrical, Harley Davidson®, ThinkBIG Service, Heavy Equipment Technician, Instrumentation, Machinist/Millwright, Parts Technician, Plumbing/Gasfitting-Steamfitting-Pipefitting, Power Engineering, and Welding. Each student gets hands-on practice in three areas of their choice, as well as an information session about the Register Apprenticeship Program, provided by Careers: The Next Generation.

Applications are due April 1st, there is no cost and the school will bus the students to and from this event.  See Mr. Randall for more information.
