Youth Representative – Peace Regional RCMP Community Advisory Committee

  Posted: January 17, 2019

The Peace Regional RCMP Community Advisory Committee is seeking one youth representative from Glenmary School to join their committee.

They are a citizen’s action group, comprised of individual memberships from several towns, municipalities, and organizations that receive policing services and support from the Peace Regional RCMP Detachment.

The committee meets one evening per month.

Committee membership provides the following valuable opportunities for youth:

  • To contribute input on and participate in implementing community safety initiatives and regional policing priorities
  • To identify and provide perspective on such initiatives and priorities that are important to youth and the school community
  • To build relationships with members of our local RCMP, municipal governments, emergency services, and community agencies
  • To fulfill the graduation requirement of 20 community volunteer hours (can be used for Christian Service hours)

Please e-mail david.amiot@hfcrd.ab.ca to be considered for this opportunity.
