Attendance

Attendance in schools is compulsory in Alberta for every individual between the ages of 6 and 16. Students who attend school regularly have the opportunity to participate more fully in learning activities which increases the likelihood of successfully completing high school.

Career Planning

Planning for your career after high school is an exciting time.  To support you in this planning Glenmary students have access to a Career Counselor, Monique Randall.  Throughout their time at Glenmary students meet individually with Madame Randall.  During these meetings, students set academic and graduation goals.  They also explore post-secondary options.

If you would like to schedule an appointment to discuss your child’s future you can make an appointment by calling the school or emailing her directly at Monique.randall@hfcrd.ab.ca.

Students also have access to Career Cruising which is a self-exploration and planning program that helps people of all ages achieve their potential in school, career and life.

Students who are interested in exploring post-secondary opportunities, scholarships and career possibilities can also access abundant information through the internet.  If you have trouble with any of the links below please contact the school and we will answer your questions and support your career planning.
